I like alot of U2's music (mostly up to Acthung Baby), but I honestly feel as though they could release a hip-hop cover album, and critics would still praise them for their originality.

I'm not saying their music sucks now. Obviously, it doesn't as they have a very large following. However, I find absolutely nothing earth shattering about anything they have done in the past decade.
