I don't think it sounds selfish at all. That is one of the things I really dislike about Bruce. I can't stand when people take advantage of a captive audience like that. Perform, because that is what people are paying for and in the end that is what their job is. If they want to preach, save it for political fundraisers and social awareness concerts and what not.

No, but I see him giving a lot back to Jersey and Philly. Just because he isn't trying to save the world doesn't mean that he isn't trying to make a difference, especially in the place that he grew up in. Sometimes you get more accomplished by taking on these small tasks rather than huge ones. At least it is easier to keep track that the money is going to the right places.
