I still don't get your point, and also you're wrong.

Bands that are over thirty years that are not dying:
Bruce Springsteen
Paul McCartney
Green Day
Red Hot Chili Peppers
Metallica

Those are just off the top of my head, and guess what - not limited to just "soft rock"


The point is that U2 is not dying, and neither of the above bands are who are over 30 years old - far from it. But Bon Jovi's recent releases, while not embarrassing for this community apparently, are still the laughing stock of everyone else.
