Default Favourite solo artists?
It comes to my attention that very few of the CDs I own are actually by solo artists, so here we go, who are your favourite solo artists, male and female, past and present?

Do artists like Lenny and Bruce really count though? Bruce yes if you’re referring to the solo era but certainly not Lenny and nothing from Bruce in the last 10 years and many years before. He is very much a band man these days and unless he has a divorce, I cant see him going solo (bite me) ~ Bryan Adams is another. Bryan Adams is 3 people in my opinion.

Lenny Kravitz writes with other artists and like Bruce almost always performs with them.

Melissa Etheridge is a solo artist’s yes but in my personal opinion I wouldn’t think many of the above counted. Yes they’re classed as solo artists by the media and such but technically they’re members of a band or group.

I think we're just going by "solo" artists who are signed under their own name.

Anyways, mine are Bruce Springsteen, Bryan Adams, Michael Jackson, and Alice Cooper.

Fair enough, same applies with Alice as does with the others though….not, in fact Alice Cooper, well the original works, Alice Cooper was the band, not the man.

Someone needs to clear this up ;D
