I really do think that at some stage we may see this happen.
This will never ever happen .As much as Slash is an easy going man Axl will never in his eyes lower himself to join Slash.

I think deep down Slash would relish the chance to reform GNR but Axl is too proud (stupid). Reading Slash's autobiography, Axl's behaviour was just unbelievable - such a strange guy. It's a shame cos he's a great frontman scared of releasing anything for fear it will be panned.

It will be interesting to see what happens with VR though, Scott will take some replacing.

Funny i dont think he will take that much to replace him. To be honest i never really liked his voice and thought VR could do so much better.

Really? I really do like Weiland's voice and I like him as a frontman too.

agreed. I LOVE Weiland - as a frontman and his voice. He kills me! I never did get the VR thing though - the first album was great, but Weiland and Slash never meshed for me. The songs were exclusive Weiland songs (lyrics) and I don't think they worked for VR - VR is not STP. New band - new brand - new message. VR did not deliver on this.

I think VR will do well without Scott and STP will sack in cash over fist with their reunion tour. Then, STP will get sick of Weiland again and he'll go away and do a solo album, which will flop and then some other once-had-been band will pick him up to do an album or two.....

... kinda down that cornell drift .... (lightening will strike me).
