I don't think they suck bigtime, but they don't really rock much either. I'd prefer one that was in between.

There's times when I think, "God, I'm sick to death of The Darkness" and times when I'm like, "Yeah, not listened to Permission To Land for a while, I'll put it on."

the darkness rock i can see why people hate them because they do seem to be on everything and thats bad i think for a band that came from nowhere to huge success because you will get loads of people saying they like them becasue tha funny or sumthin but not for there music
they have great fun rocking tunes
seen them twice
1)supporting def leppard before they were big
2)leeds festival 2003
and they were great both times
good band for getting the crowds going

They are way overrated. I still don't see what the big hype is all about. Their music has no meaning to me and I don't think the lyrics are a bit funny at all, just sort of dumb. My opinion is: They SUCK!

They've already written two new tracks for the new album and played them in their live set. They are titled "W*nker" and "Up S*** Creak Without a Paddle". classic!
