A few reasons, actually. This place has different rooms named Heaven, Hell and Purgatory and books a lot of punk acts. It isn't far from the Georgia Tech campus, so it will probably be a college crowd. I'd look like someone's mom who tagged along. LOL Normally that wouldn't bother me, but at a GA show in a small venue . . . eh, I guess it does. Then I made the mistake of asking a co-worker about the place, and she said it is her least favorite venue in Atlanta. It's in an old warehouse kind of building, and the last time she was there, she could feel the wooden floors in the Heaven room (upstairs and where The Gaslight Anthem is playing) moving. A lot. Too bad, because tickets are cheap, and I'd really like to see them. And I hate being a chicken. Well, maybe I'll buy a ticket and see how I feel about it when the time comes. I'm downloading a DVD of their performance at a festival in Spain right now. Maybe that will help me decide.
