It was originally a Jazz song, but the Who really rock it up and I think Moons drums and Daltrey's vocal's really add a lot to the song.
Never heard the original, will give it a listen sometime. I have, however, got the Live At Leeds version, which is phenomenal, as with the rest of that album (in it's various guises, the longer the better).

In the Young Vic gig they're currently doing I Don't Even Know Myself, and Pete's just had a go at some guy for dancing too much and distracting them from remembering the chords Really were a great live band then, so tight but sounding totally free and natural.

Ronnie Wood - I Can Feel The Fire

Gotta love a bit of Ronnie Wood. His first album is, for want of a better word wonderful. Just sounds like him and his mates (who happen to be Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Mick Taylor, Rod Stewart, Ian McLagan, George Harrison, Ruby Turner, Mick Waller and the rhythm section off Bowie's Young Americans) having a really good time and making some great, honest music.
