Never heard the original, will give it a listen sometime. I have, however, got the Live At Leeds version, which is phenomenal, as with the rest of that album (in it's various guises, the longer the better).
In the Young Vic gig they're currently doing I Don't Even Know Myself, and Pete's just had a go at some guy for dancing too much and distracting them from remembering the chords

Really were a great live band then, so tight but sounding totally free and natural.
