Do you know Umphrey's McGee at all? Should appeal to a fan of Rush. Or Pink Floyd. Or Good Music.

Umphrey's - Wizard Burial Ground (some *serious* shredding here, and then gets ****ing beautiful three and half minutes in)

Damn good recommendation, thank you It makes me think of La Villa Strangiato. I need to check this out again when I get off work tomorrow.

They should have saved some of those gems for later in their career for sure.
I think Noel wrote it about how he was ****ed on drugs and how a girl he was with saw him through those tough times.

"Weeds" by Life Of Agony off their "Soul Searching Sun" album. Great song, with my favourite lyric of all time...
"If tomorrow never shows
I'd want you all to know
That I loved you all, you're beautiful
And I had myself a ball"

Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant band...if you haven't checked 'em out - do so...

Couldn't agree more. The fact that 'Listen Up'/'Talk Tonight'/'Headshrinker' weren't on a proper album is shocking, in my opinion.

Dunno, you know it kinda made them special at the time. You used to look forward to Oasis singles to hear the bsides before the days of digital downloads of course.
