Yeah I suppose but there is no doubt he's a fine player. He's got a very unique style, and he's a very affective performer. On the recordings you don't really notice how good he actually is, but when you see him play live you realise how capable he is. On a DVD that Becky sent me there is a gig, where on one of the songs he lays down a base line using his thumb while playing a rhythm at the same time. That takes some doing and is certainly the sign of someone who knows his way around a fret board. He'll never be given true credit for being a great guitar player I don't think. I understand what you're saying, but there is a reasonable amount of evidence that suggests his proficiency.

Oh and just for the record, I'm straight.
