Scorpions - Fly To The Rainbow

A very early masterpiece.

What I Miss About You - Katie Melua
I think we agree on a lot. Funnily even on Katie Melua (though I like "Bicycles" and "Crazy") and Abba. My girlfriend made me watch "Mamma Mia" (the movie) lately, and though it was quite cheesy, I started to listen to Abba like crazy. "Lay All Your Love On Me" is also one of my favourites, along with "The Day Before You Came". They became darker and deeper in their later years, and whatever people say, they knew how to deliver.

Polar Nights - Scorpions

The Core - Eric Clapton

Cool and groovy. And 8 minutes long!

I only ever used to like 'Eagle' and 'The Winner Takes It All' by ABBA but then I saw Mamma Mia! in the theatres last year and I was overwhelmed, crappy story but my lord it was hilarious and had my toes tapping. I do prefer their depper and darker stuff.

If You Were A Sailboat - Katie Melua

That's what I used to think Jadey dear, but then you realise that if you can't enjoy Abba even a bit then you have no soul and life seems so much darker.

Depper? Wow, you really are obsessed with Dr. Pepper aren't you... You're mixing both words up.

And now another great song:

Van Diemen's Land - U2

Oh, how I love the "Rattle & Ham" album! And even Bon Jovi had U2's "Helter Skelter" in mind when they they played it in 1995/96.
