I don't really like his music even I do like some goth metal songs and bands. but he`s just an idiot I mean hey some poeple still like calling him the anti christ but he`s as mainstreem as it can get. Looking the way he does trying to shock is a nice way to sell records.

by the way my brother told me he was an actor as a kid?!

I like Manson's music very much, but I don't really care about all the things he does in the publicity. As far as I know, he used to work as a music critic before he started making music.

There is a rock veteran who is was the Marilyn Manson of the 60's and 70's......Mr Alice Cooper

He was deemed as the anti-christ, influencing people, hidden messages, blamed for anti social behaviour, and then he opens his mouth and appears really intelligent.

I watched him on an interview once, he was talking about his handicap on golf very pleasant then he got up and sang a song called "burning our bed" and set fire to a bed onstage.

Its all entertainment thats all, its to make and break the music industry.

i dont buy marilyn mansons records but apparantly hes way cleverer than average and even tho hes supposed to be all weird and gothic and controversial hes a normal guy in real life, just acting on stage. like bon geordie said hes like alice cooper.
u sometimes hear of fans of marilyn and alice who kill themselves and ppl say its cos of the music they listen to and so they blame them, but those records were not intended to make people kill themselves. if someone who was a fan of say britney spears or justin timberlake or some other "clean" manufactured pop star committed suicide no one would ever say it was cos their records told them to, but if its someone controversial or rock music then people associate it with death and the devil and stuff like that. its like the eminem fan who killed himself - ppl said it must have been cos an eminem song told him to do it. the thing was this guy was suicidal anyway so i dont think he killed himself just cos of his music.
anyway about a couple of years ago marilyn manson was doing a concert and just before he went on stage he met the mother of a fan who had killed herself, and he gave her sympathy and tried to make her feel better and was really nice to her and a totally normal bloke, so it shows that even if he has this controversial image it doesnt mean hes really like that underneath. if u think about it the image is clever cos it gets people talking about him.

I don't like him, and I don't like his music. As Letitrock wrote, as a person he isn't that bad. It's just the way he sells his music that's weird.

Well yes, you only have to watch Waynes World and see that Sky Plus advert

I mean Alice Cooper and Ronnie Corbett, what a perfect match.
