i know - well then we are all abnormal for our generation

but while guys our age have terrible music taste, often girls have slightly worse taste...

That we are... And I do agree with you. Girls tend to have really crappy taste in music. The only thing guys have going against them is rap music. You know, the ones who love it so much that they try to BE rappers? Ugh... This is what we girls have in our dating pool.

1987, one of the best CD's in my collection.

i still have a bootleg cassette (my own original-recorded in the front row-quality recording as well) i made at a whitesnake concert circa 1983 -1985 in edinburgh. i remember it had happy biirthday being sung cos it was the bassists neil murray;s birthday and neil is a local edinburgh lad.
John Sykes was the guitarist then -that man was unbelievable, i expected him to pop up in every band i saw cos in the space of a few years i saw him playing with tygers of pantang, then thin lizzy and of course whitesnake.

but paul rodgers of bad company is the better blues vocalist imo than coverdale

Whitesnake. Great band, great singer/frontman - Mister DAVID COVERDALE.
My personal opinion is that he's even better than Ian Gillan and when David was lead singer in Deep Purple back in 1974-1976 it was just great. He's such a talent.

No words to express the feelnigs about this great band.. really. Even David himself said that he's glad to have one of the most romantic rock n roll bands in the world.. And he's right about that.

I gotta go now, tonight I'm goin' to see tribute to Whitesnake.



And if anyone here wants to know more about whitesnake and their music, the best way is to buy Greatest Hits CD from 1994. or Album "1987" .. such a masterpiece.. I like all of them, Sinners and saints,.. Slip of the tongue.. Restless Heart (david's solo form 1997)..

The only band with a soul, after Bon Jovi offcourse.
