oasis are okay i suppose. their better material has noel on lead vocals.
Agreed - but I saw them live here in NYC and they sure did not know how to excite an audience. Some bands are better on CD than live and I guess they are one. Not that they were bad - they weren't - but there was no spark. They shared the bill with The Black Crows who came on second. Now those guys knew what to do with a live audience - the place just lit up. Go figure.

Have Oasis actually started making music yet? Or just the same stuff as usual?

DE GUSTIBUS NON DISPUTANDUM EST. (Latin)

It means: You do not have to discuss about people likes!

Maybe what you do like i really consider it very bad...and you can do the same thing with me.

I used to think the were a fairly good band, but I was never a big fan. I'd don't listen to them anymore though.

Oasis rock! I just happen to be listening to on of their gigs from 1994 in new york.

I seen Oasis twice last year (finsbury park and the homecoming in manchesters LCCC).

I am a big fan, but am not too keen on Be here now and SOTSOG albums.

Heathen Chemistry saw oasis back at their best!

Oasis are alright, they arent great but they're ok. Morning Glory is a good album with some classic songs Don't Look Back In Anger is one of my faves. There B-sides, some of them are better than quite a few album tracks. I havent got Heathen Chemistry but i will be buying it as it has one of my fave songs on Little By Little. And as someone above said about Noel on lead, 2 of my fave songs are Little By Little and Sunday Morning Call both sung by him.

Aloha !

Someone with such a nickname as mine must hate them. :P

No, I really like Oasis. About Noel and Liam being nobheads or whatever...Yes. Liam is seems to be an egocentric **** I think, but to me he's one of the best vocalists that comes from the nineties. He never sings a false note, or leaves a word out because he's out of breath. He does not give extreme high notes, or extreme screams, but when he's giving it all you feel his voice stretching the notes without killing the melodies. But that's just my opinion.

Plus, that what they play on an album, they can play live too. A lot of people over here said Live was a great band, but to me they sounded very bad. Their lead guitar player can't play live, does not know how to bend a not or something. Noel mightis not one of the best guitarplayers, but he can do the same live as what he does on CD. They're around for more then 10 years now and have been on top, got down because of too much drugs, and now they're climbing back again. I think one time they'll be big again some time.

The music from Oasis has got a certain vibe. At least, that's the way I look at it. The fans feel that vibe I think, to others they're just a band with some decent songs and 2 brothers should stop bitching about eachother.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
