Skynyrd - Free Bird
Zeppelin - Stairway to Heaven
The Goo Goo Dolls - Iris and Let Love In
Nickelback - If Everyone Cared
Journey - Don't Stop Believin'
That's all I can think of right now, I know way too many songs.

Rather than indivdiual songs I guess I think in terms of albums. When I am absolutely down I listen to :

Simon and Garfunkel - Bridge Over Troubled Water & Wednesday Morning 3 am
Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run & Born in the USA
Led Zeppelin - IV (Zoso) and Physical Grafitti
Bon Jovi - Keep the Faith & These Days
JBJ - Blaze of Glory
Southside Johnny - Hearts of Stone
Crosby Stills and Nash - 1st album (named Crosby Stills and Nash)
Heart - Dreamboat Annie
Joan Baez - Any Day Now (all songs by Bob Dylan)

There are others - but those above are my lifelong friends.

Hallelujah - Leonard Cohen. Very powerful song, with lots of little references to stuff in my life.

Clarity - John Mayer. Can't put my finger on it, but it gives me that relaxed, let-it-all-wash-over-me feeling.

Resolve - Foo Fighters. Naff as this may sound, but it gave me resolve. It dragged me arse-first through the back end of '05, when I spent plenty of time getting out of a very scary hole.

Last Man Standing, electric - Milton Keynes 06. Not a stunning performace, but I was dancing, singing, laughing and loving it, because I was with my best pal. One of my happiest memories.
