But they are saying he has left the band and NOT just the tour. Off the tour would not surprise me at all, but being out of the band all together is a much larger picture IMO. Hope it's just more rubbish. When there were problems in the past, social media did not exist to fuel all the rumors and inuendos. To me, it makes it more important that the ones who are involved and in the know be a bit more transparent with the fan base. Jon, as CEO should make an official statement and Richie needs to just get rid of his current PR and talk for himself. Boy, am I dreaming.
I do believe the bond with the band, normal family fights, was better for Richie than what as someone else said somewhere, people who don't walk beside him but are along for the ride. I believed from the beginning that whatever started this was perceived diff. by Richie vs Jon. 30 years................ left like tarnished silver. And it seems, no one cares enough to pick it up, clean it and see that it could have still shined. |
