I thought it very strange that he would tweet anything Bon Jovi-related, particularly during the concert. I went to his profile (or whatever it's called - I'm a twitter newbie) there was no such post. Weird.

I think I know what you saw, be careful because there are a few Richie parodys or even fakes, look for the correct spelling (ie one was @therealsamdora), verified check, and they will use his avatar to "fool" you. I have phone notification if the auth. account tweets (I know, so sad) and the RT's that are now gone did come via his account but the ones you are talking about I'm pretty certain were parodys.
