The canal in town is like that - to be fair, it is next to a supermarket so you'd perhaps have used to expect to find trolleys in there, but they put up a railing now, doesn't stop them. That said, ducks still go along there. Not sure if I posted this t'other week when I took it, but this is the point I mean, next to Tesco and the Hilton hotel...

People only usually fish further along, under the bridge, and given that on any average day in town you'll mostly only find old people and chavs, that doesn't surprise me.

Yes, it is called 'The Hotties' lol

The greenway is pretty nice though, you only really see the link-road when you get out at the bottom end and follow the road around. Even at the bottom end where the pond is, if you go up the hill there you've got Pilks factories behind you, but the other way you've got a great view of the whole of town. I did a 360° shot up there today, I'll see if I can find a good way to embed it somewhere to share.
