But Jon has obviously had it with him and this same "personal issue". I'm sure he's back drinking and doing coke, but there's probably a whole lot of benzos and/or opioids thrown into the mix too. Dry mouth is a really common side effect of opioid and benzo use.

Could be. I've never really seen Richie as a very gifted speaker and being out of your element or uncomfortable can make someone speak without really being sure what it is they want to say. I'm being cautious here and trying not to come to any conclusions since dry mouth is also a common side effect to a lot of medications. The thing about him being ill and such. But as far as I know, he could be drinking and on cocaine every freaking day. But I agree, he does seem Weird....
