Jon and Richie have written just as many bad songs together as they have apart. People are clinging to the idea of brotherhood that, as Seb has said, hasn't existed in some time. A point I've made a billion times Richie co-wrote every single song on The Circle. You can't claim Richie is the rock side of the band when he co-wrote an album of mid tempo songs with the occasional solo.
It's not enough for him to be back in the band, he has to be present in the band otherwise he's going through the motions and helping contribute bland. That's why I don't care if he's back or not, the band needs to be the band. |
