As far as I can tell the first time they changed the key to Livin in Sin was 89.

It sounds even deeper now because they play it half a step down so it would be a tone and a half lower than the album nowadays. They started tuning down half a step in 94-95 I think....

Korean fans got lucky, good for them. Despite the vocal struggles, that's a decent setlist considering the band hasn't played there for ages.

Moral of the story: If your country is selected to be the first few in the tour, be very worried because the band is still trying things out and you may get robbed with a short show.

Yeeeah, tell that to the ones that saw the first two gigs of The Circle Tour:

They were short but: Roullete, Get Ready, Only Lonely, Tokyo Road. Damn.

I hope to hear someday the acoustic version of Superman Tonight. It's amazing. I love how the public doesn't shout the "ooh"s at the end but say them calm, like the song. I really love it.

Completely agree about the acoustic version of Superman.

I wish I could say you're all overreacting to the vocals. But I just watched In These Arms and Always (maybe my two favorite songs). Wow, did he labor through those. I hope he gets this figured out. #officiallyconcerned

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Once I noticed Who Says in the audible section it means Jon's kind of realizing how the song just doesn't work outside of America. Neither does Born To Follow. Shame he still resorts to the same replacements with Crash and Radio.

Born To Follow still works outside America (specifically Asia except in China) because it still sounds like their typical "Live My Life" anthem. The country tinged BJ songs however, don't.

You got me there :)
But still, the show was short despite the rarities.

I wish they'd bring Get Ready back. That's a good live song. And hopefully they'll play something of 7800F in the future. That album needs some love.

That acoustic version of Superman was beautiful. See, Jon can still sing as long as it's in his range. There is nothing wrong with his tone. He might have to start switching his shows by doing half acoustic.

And also, I think Jon could nail Teardrop....

Correct. This is in C#. It is already tuned town to D and another half step down to C#. My bad.

Even I am concerned with that version of always... Yes even me!.. Maybe if he is going to attempt this kind of song he should do it earlier in the set when his voice is not so strained?
