I believe what Howard Stern said about Richie also applies to Bon Jovi fandom, at least a huge chunk of it

Well... Backstage and RT are different now. But yeah, lot of the people came from Backstage.
Backstage almost doesn't exist anymore.
Just for tickets pre-sale and for a laminate with a pin.

Matt: I do understand but you have to understand this is not a "Show". We create and sell packages. We are not concert promoters we are Experiential Travel Experience Curators. This is why there are no "Tickets" to the performance.

The NBA has just suspended all its games and the NHL is likely to follow a similar path; as a result their season might extend well into summer, clashing with Bon Jovi dates.

I highly doubt this tour will go on as planned.

I'm not buying it. It's not just cancelling the shows that's the hard part. But all preparation and pre-production is put on halt as well nowadays with people either not working or just working from home. Then there's road crews which are shared by other artists who have all postponed their shows to next year.

There's just no way they'll be willing to risk it considering the peak in New York is expected to be in late april and Trump constantly playing down the risks of the virus it has had way too much time to spread. It'll take a few months for it to wear off after it has peaked meaning by that time it's July. Considering how hard New York's been hit and the big cities in California also being hazards that's 25% of your tour you can't do.

They're just not cancelling and postponing yet because there's such an insane amount of money involved but I'm sure they're already checking dates and venues for 2021. Considering how the Olympic Games are moving to 2021, all soccer events are either delayed or cancelled and plenty of races in the Formula 1 season having been moved up there's little reason to believe these shows will go on.

I’m fully expecting my LA Guns gig on 10th May and GNR late May to be moved but I’ve not heard anything yet.
GNR are playing in Spurs ground and they’ll need it to resume the football season when it restarts.

I agree with you. Tour prep was slated for early May so yes, a postponement will come.

And found out today I have Coronavirus so...yes it was a great day!!
