Save a prayer has to be on any version of KTF.

My perfect tracklist of KTF would be:

Believe
KTF
Sleep
Arms
Roses
Mother
County
Good Guys (This song sounds like the KTF songs, same sound, same voice)
Save
Fear
Radio
Blame
Little Bit
Starting

Good choice, but you put 14 songs
I tried to do it with the 12 original tracklist.
For sure,if i had do it with 14 songs,Save a Prayer would be there,but I wouldnt put Good Guys,not because I dont like,cause I love it,just because its from a soundtrack.
Btw,wasnt Good Guys written after the launch of KTF,in 93 or so?

Absolutely.

Here's "my" KTF, from the top off my head. Track order basically just random after DC.

1. I Believe
2. KTF
3. Sleep...
4. In These Arms
5. Bed Of Roses
6. If I Was Your Mother
7. Dry County
8. Woman In Love (I know that Jon doesn't like it, but it's catchy)
9. The Fire Inside
10. The Radio Saved My Life Tonight
11. Starting All Over Again
12. Save A Prayer

That's a SOLID album.

Same with The Distance and Love Me Back To Life.

Yup, Definitely!

My KTF would be

1. I Believe
2. Keep The Faith
3. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
4. In These Arms
5. Bed Of Roses
6. If I Was Your Mother
7. Dry County
8. Fields Of Fire
9. Fear
10. Miss Fourth Of July
11. Starting All Over Again
12. Little Bit Of Soul
13. Save A Prayer

I chose 13 tracks as I was always used to the 13 track version we had in the UK/Europe. But if I had to lose one of those tracks, it would probably be Fear.

That's a KTF I'd love from start to finish. To be honest, I rarely listen to it past Dry County. I personally may keep Blame It On The Love in there instead of Little Bit Of Soul, but other than that, that'd be a top notch album for me.

Since I'm having a nice day of procrastination, I thought I'd make my own KTF tracklist:

1. I Believe
2. Keep The Faith
3. The Radio Saved My Life Tonight
4. In These Arms
5. Bed Of Roses
6. If I Was Your Mother
7. Dry County
8. Taking It Back
9. Save A Prayer
10. Miss Fourth Of July
11. Blame It On The Love of Rock & Roll
12. Little Bit Of Soul

- As you can see, I'm not a big fan of the second half of the KTF album that we got. It's always mentioned as one of their best albums, but that second half puts it a tad below TD, NJ and (no typo) LH in my own rankings. Hence, I tried to remedy that.
- I see most of you eliminated BIOTLOR&R because of similarities to Sleep, but I did the opposite. It has always been one of my favorites and I consider it the superior version of Sleep, plus Jon's vocal is superb. For me, Sleep is one of the most overrated and overplayed songs in their catalogue. Woman In Love is meh, so it also gets eliminated for being a bit similar.
- I was never into If I Was Your Mother as much as most of you, but I admit that it's a unique song in their catalogue and for the purpose of the album it benefits from a diversity standpoint.
- On its own merit, I Want You deserves to be on the album, but I think there'd be a bit too many ballads and Miss Fourth Of July is just a tad better. Similarly, I like Outlaws of Love, but it just didn't fit here. A bit too Springsteen-esque to be on KTF, whereas Save a Prayer is a better fit, even though I prefer Outlaws as a song.
- Taking It Back is no masterpiece, but I wanted to eliminate Fear (which does nothing to be) and wanted to replace with another rocker and there weren't many better choices. I think on this tracklist it does a good job of picking the mood up after the Dry County.
- Strategy-wise, In These Arms should have been the lead single instead of KTF. BOR remains as a second single. Radio I'd have as my third single as I think the chorus is catchier than almost anything on this album.

EDIT: I honestly forgot about Fields of Fire. It could be included in the place of Save a Prayer.
