Sorry but after all is said and done, if he doesn't come back, between this tour and 2011 I will have had to sit through 8 shows without him. I think I have a right to be pissed off. Oh yeah and i had travel plans that were non refundable for his solo shows in the US. So right about now Richie isn't high on my respect list

He also says that Alec is still a member .

This is so different I wouldn't even know where to start.

Where has Jon said Alec is "still a member" of the band? He's said he wants him there if they ever get accepted to the RnR Hall of Fame, but I don't recall a quote of "Alec is still a member of the band," of anything that would indicate Alec would be welcome back like he said Richie would. If I've missed it, point me in the right direction.

I agree we do need some distractions, though. And Rolo's pictures just don't work anymore; he decided to jump on the Jon's-a-dick bandwagon and has been recycling photoshops since then. C'mon, Rolo, give us something like in the good ol' days.

Concerts aren't typically a risky way to spend money, at least not for Bon Jovi fans. It's not like the tickets were bought to see George Jones. RIP. Maybe we should start calling Richie Possum, Jr.

I'm dealing with this at the moment. I planned an upcoming trip to California around the planned Rockers In Recovery show with Richie. Now it's "pending." Still have other stuff Im doing, and I hope it still happens. Not mad at Rich though, and I do know the rescheduling may have NOTHING to do with him.

I miss him doing what he does best, bein an ass kicking guitarist and a goofy dude :) Also want Jon to be at peace with himself and where he is in life, and continue to be a great frontman.

The only thing I said about money was that my travel plans for his solo shows were non-refundable, I still traveled to see my friends(good thing I guess since he canceled so last minute) I never said anything about "spending so much money". My point is Richie shows no respect to his fans, and that is a fact. I don't need you to teach me a lesson though honey, thanks.

Nobody in the band/organisation is showing much respect for fans. They've all handled it wrong.

Matt isn't a trustworthy source either.

This is the whole "we don't do our laundry in public" thing, which I've always respected. Until now. Richie's business is his own, but the future of the band is the business of the people that made them who they are - The fans. And as fans, we have a right to know what the hell is going on.

That's where I blame Richie. Jon might be an ass, but I truly believe he's said all he knows. For whatever reason, Richie decided to take a vacation in the middle of the tour and doesn't respect his fans enough to let us know what the hell he plans on doing. Christ, even a tweet like "Right now, my future with the band is in limbo. Some issues going and I can't say if or when I'll be back." Instead, all we get is bullshit cryptic, pointless messages telling us he's OK and he loves us.

Could Richie be forming a cult?

People keep tweeting it up to 200 times (that's what the number at the end is), then when they are done, someone else starts tweeting it. If you do a search for @therealsambora it's all you get.

As far as I understood it, Richie never was to play at that concert, but just a member of the board (or was that some other gig?) - so please do yourself a favor and double check before planning a trip and bring disppointed...

Yeah, I don't remember the name of it, but it was some award thingy that also involved the guitar store Richie usually hangs at (maybe the one CKatz mentioned). Not the same thing. I didn't know that this Nokia thing was in doubt as well now.
