They usually did great covers, but this might qualify for the "worst-Jovi-cover" award.

Seriously... I'm on the complete opposite end of that... I thought it was perfect... Very 80s... Vocals are A+ with his signature rasp... Slow doesn't mean it's bad. I feel the attitude!!

Interesting how opinions differ - I grew up listening to the cover The Sweet which I though was awesome and full of energy, then listening to this almost put me to sleep :D

Bon Jovi - Peppermint Twist (Tokyo 2003) - YouTube

I like this, but then I had never heard the original beforehand.

I'd take this over 'Birthday' that they performed in Liverpool.

I wouldn't go that far. I'd rather say they didn't rehearse it well enough.
Halfway through it gets better in my opinion.
They already played it for the first time 2 nights prior in Fukuoka but there's no footage from that show.
On that night here in Tokyo the band seemed to be off at times. During the soundcheck they rehearsed a new ending to Born To Be My Baby (bringing the song down at the end and going 'round again with the audience singing the nananas, like they played it afterwards for most shows during the Bounce and Have A Nice Day tours) and played it during the show for the first time that way but messed it up a little bit as well (they didn't find the right spot to bring it down and thus played another four times the nanana-part before bringing it down).

Love the Only Rule live Sydney 2010

Pretty cool performance, the ending is magic.

Recording bounce Album

in the mark 2:37 minutes aprox, What are they discussing?

It sounds like they're trying to figure out if they should revamp Everyday to follow the descending bass line and change the riff to that.
