I don't think anyone thinks he looks old for his age, it's just surprising how much he has aged in the past few years.

Hardly fair to compare Steven's make-up photo shoot pictures that have been so touched up that he looks plastic, to that one of Jon in a close up daylight shot. (or that shot of Richie) Not to mention Steven has been doing the plastic surgery and Botox thing for YEARS.

That said, yes Jon is looking his years now. I think it's good that he's confident enough to "go natural" so to say. (well, as natural as he's probably ever going to get) Maybe he wants to give his hair a chance to get healthy again, give it a break from the all the products that have been frying it for years. I'm Just glad he's not going the hair extension and dangly bead route that Richie and Steven are doing. But it doesn't matter what he does, people are always going to have a go at him. He dies his hair, has his teeth done and gets plugs, people make fun of him. He goes natural and is sporting grey hair, people are still jabbing at him.

Her hair is going away. Sanson Jovi.

I rarely get to give kudos to Jon these days, but big props to him ageing gracefully. Especially considering his status and what he's known for.

This. I agree.

Jon should keep that look, and go on an acoustic theater run across the US. He's already done everything else except the old folksy thing, and it would suit him right now :) ....

This is exactly right .

When he made the Memory video in 07, he looked 37. Since then, he's gained four years in age for every two that passed.

I think he's so exausted from the last tour he's just drying out until the next one. He's being political Jon for a bit and then he'll grown out his hair, add some color and become rock star Jon again for the next album.
