A lot of shows in 2011 weren't full as well. Barcelona comes to mind, there were tons of space still vacant in the stadium. In 2013 most of the shows were far from sold out. Some were even half full. The official BJ numbers state sold out for every concert due to that number manipulation that we've discussed here a lot of times.

Except on markets that they have not visited in many many years, their popularity has been decreasing. Japan is a good example: they used to do multiple cities there ... Not anymore since 2011.

In Barcelona there were 40000 people,with a 50000 capacity
It was not sold out because there was another Jovi gig 400 km away from Barcelona, two days after that,in San Sebastian with a 35000 attendance.
On the other hand, many people from Madrid and south Spain went to Lisbon because its closer to them than Barna and was the end of tour.
Finally,BJ came to Spain from 2008 to 2011,5 times so 75000 people in two concerts in 2011 its a very good mark.
In 2013,yes it was the "precio amigo" gig, but, just one concert at Vicente Calderón,SOLD OUT

Don't assume the UK leg has to be in the summer. Can feasibility be in the winter this year or early spring next year in indoor arenas

That's what they logically should do, but Jon would have to be willing to swallow his ego.

That's a good point and as Walleris stated, it makes sense. The Echo Arena in Liverpool would be a great start!
