It just seemed like immediately after losing his ability to hit high notes properly, he became a statue. Lack of high range was his only big issue in 2015, and he barely moved around on stage at all on that year’s tour; a completely different situation compared to 2019-22, when it was easily understandable that he didn’t feel comfortable performing with such severe problems. |

I'm enjoying Light on Youtube.....His Always run to you from Tokyo Live from 1985 sounds great....
Hope these snippets continue....If JBJ doesn't shut him down..... |
Yeah that channel is kind of collecting stuff that's out there, but it's nothing the fans haven't heard before. All those demos and live tracks are either ripped from backstage / The Experience or were snippets that have been around for years and years. So it's not like he has access to locked-away recordings as it seems.

Even though the recording from those old cassettes is a bit of diehard fan territory, I'd boldly say that this was maybe Jon's best (at least most confident) vocal performances I've heard on tour. No matter if Always, With A Little Help or almost any other track...Wembley who?

Thanks for posting this Dominik! Sorry to miss the YouTube premiere of this one, especially since I was lucky enough to be at this show. Amazing job with a pretty rough raw recording. A band at the absolute top of their game. Probably my favorite Always performance ever. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |
https://youtu.be/JlUmfh4_a3M?si=pHQH5YSZkOhTQQdB Interesting interview with Dave. He’s had even worse/scary health issues than Jon that didn’t deserve a mention in the documentary!☹️
