That's interesting. Show business is such bullshit. I couldn't blame anybody for doing something like this. It must be mindnumbingly awful to have to do hundreds and hundreds of interviews saying the same bollocks.

Mitch Was asked to do a Bon Jovi interview to promote the Own live album.
He got to where the meeting was happening and a spokes lady gave him a CD.
He thought he was given a OWN promo but the lady said that’s the interview answers on the CD and the questions for you to put in magazine and connect answers to are inside the cd on the inlay card.
He said I thought I was here to meet Bon Jovi? She said no they aren’t doing any for OWN so have just released this CD of answers and everyone is being given the same.

So every interview in magazine or radio (before internet took off) had same questions and answers.

On the pod they the do the interview as if they were on the radio but tongue in cheek.

Alan Niven who is also on the podcast (once asked to manage Bon Jovi by Jon) said he can see the pros being that some interviewers are what they call “got you’s” where they will ask a question, get the answer and then say well you didn’t say that 10 years ago and point out the answer they gave 10 years ago.

Niven said he was asked to manage Jovi before Jon decided to do it.
Jon called him and said I’m in (wherever Alan lives) do you want to meet up for a drink and chat about being our manager?
Alan had a prior engagement and said I can’t tonight but I’m im in your neck of the woods next week so I’ll meet you then.
Jon called again the following week and said to meet at the record company...Alan said I thought we were going to bar? Jon said I’m at the label so meet me there. When Alan walked in he said Jbj was surrounded by his lawyers and label execs and he said he just turned round and walked out.
