After watching these videos from last shows, I can honesty say that Because We Can tour was amazing comparing to this! In every single level.

Let's not get carried away yes it was a bad song but I do feel people go overboard.

Always is THE SONG from Bon Jovi in Korea
Koreans crave for that sort of ballad.
Singers cover Always often

and they sing it their own way but way better than what Jon delivered

if it is not relevant the mods will move this or delete it

I think now, as Jon is almost without voice, he could do an specific search about every country they’ll play, and let the crowd do the show.

For example, songs like misunderstood, all about loving you and always, I can assure that would be a blast here in Brazil. Sing the lows parts and let the crowd sing the highs, doing smiles. The “father time” has arrived, face it and try to find others ways to still delivery a good show.

I finally got around to watching a few of these videos and it seems like it was a great show. Jon's vocals weren't that bad for me except for always. What I find funny is how much sympathy Jon is getting around the world from what is as far as I'm aware one of his worst vocal performances ever! Sure the guy is getting old, and ones voice does change with time, years of touring have for sure done damage to his vocal chords as also smoking and drinking during tour time. But if that was the case, singers in rock bands wouldn't perform past 50!! this is a guy that can use every resource in the world to get his voice ready to a competent standard before a tour kicks in, or if that fails get the songs ready to be played the way he can sing them. There is no reason why he couldn't perform Always the way they performed it 4-5 years ago, it really just seems like he stopped trying.

This is just assuming that it isn't a medical issue. For some reason I was reminded of his comment before the first show where he said that "as long as he can still hit the high notes...". Does anybody else think that was maybe his cryptic way of letting people know that he'll soon call it quits??

No. I don't think he means in a literal sense for every song in his catalog. I think it's just a shortening way of saying, he'll do it until he can't pull off live shows anymore... And until he can't pack them in. As long as he could pull off the rock songs and do stadium tours, he'll keep going. I do however think Jon knows his voice is slowly giving out and his years are limited. My guess is anywhere between 5 to 10 more years... Between 60 to 62.

In addition...
- I think Jon will always make albums.
- I think he'll always be a performer, even if he does spot solo acoustic shows.
- I don't think the future of Bon Jovi is up to Jon but he's letting Tico and Dave decide (for the most part). Tico is the one who is almost ten years older.

Anyone saying he's stopped trying hasn't got a clue!

People lose their range generally, Jon struggles as he's coupled that with excessive touring, little or no correct technique and irreversible damage e from the 80s that took 10 years to catch up but it happened! (98!)

I agree... Jon and lack of effort don't belong in the same sentence. Just lack of ability

I believe Jon is pretty arrogant guy who thinks he simply doesn't need any practise, and what ever he delivers is basically always enough.

We all remember him telling how he doesn't understand bands that have to practise for days before starting a tour... Yet Jon has to rely on teleprompter in 70% of the songs. What is actually going on and what Jon wants to belive is going on are two totally different things.

That's nonsense.

He doesn't bother to practice between tours. He started smoking heavily. He doesn't like to rehearse. The list goes on.

The simple fact that he's making people pay to see him singing like that and thinking he can get away with it shows that he does the minimum.
