Since there's talk of Richie being at a grocery store in the UK today, I though it interesting that this showed up on my Facebook feed. It didn't say where or when they were taken. It would be kind of funny if Jon and Richie made their first public appearance together again at a grocery store.

Is it considered stalker-ish that I'd like to know what's in that basket? I'm curious what multimillionaires eat. :D As for the sunglasses I've had prescription ones before, and I'd wear them to drive and then continue to wear them in the store. Just a thought.8)

I've done that too. Also, a few years ago, my regular glasses were getting repaired while I was in Mobile visiting a friend for a week, so I wore my sunglasses in her house and in every store and restaurant we went to. I looked like I was blind or something.

Sunglasses or not, I'm just impressed Jon goes to the grocery store with his wife.

Hahaha, me too - and no I think its just human curiosity. I've seen pics of them also from awhile back walking with bags loaded from Wholefoods - I'm guessing they eat Healthy well with how Jon looks that's no surprise really LOL!

I said it very early on in this thread and I'll say it again, because Ava's tweet suggests even more so.

This whole thing hints that the issue relates more to Heather & Ava than it does to a feud between Jon & Richie. Heather has a new guy in her life and maybe Ava hasn't been getting on with them. Richie had to do the dad thing and has been around for her while she finishes school.
With LA schools finishing up any time around now, it would allow him to bring her out to Europe to finish the tour.

Richie won't say anything in public that puts the blame on Ava & Heather, as it would be wrong for everyone to then start having a go at them on Twitter etc.

For what it's worth that's been my theory all along too :)

Maybe Jon is actually Ava's father and the news has just come out?

How long do passport applications take in the US? Do they have passport offices like we do in the UK where you can get a passport instantly or is there a wait involved?

Just wondering if there is any remote hope of Richie being in the UK next week.

Not trying to be the "glass half empty" person here, but I was looking at some of the comments on Matt's twitter site and someone re-tweeted Ava's passport tweet, to which someone else commented that she was going to Europe with friends.

I do hope the "private matter" was family-related and will be resolved when the school year ends, but when you put the random puzzle pieces together the unfinished picture still suggests to me a riff between Richie and Jon.

Let's not forget this whole thing apparently wasn't planned or predicted and it all sort of happened suddenly.

I have thought the same as some others, that this has to do more with Heather/Ava than any problem with Jon. I doubt it would be something as simple as a new boyfriend. Maybe Heather has had enough of him being gone for long periods of time and threatened court action regarding custody. Since he had just been in Hawaii with Ava before leaving the tour and was planning on being in Calgary per his tweet about being back on tour. I think something happened at the last minute with legal action and he couldn't leave. Would also make sense with his tweet about not being able to say anything since they may still be working things out. I think he will be back after school is out and I don't think it has anything to do with a fight between him and Jon. May be completely wrong but that has been my thought all along.

This is so sad. CrushMagazine posted an article where they mention one of Ava's tweets, "HISTORY FINAL", pointing out that she must be aware of how Bon Jovi fans stalk her and basically accusing her of tweeting ambiguous stuff to rattle them up. Too bad that tweet couldn't possibly be stretched into having more than one meaning, unless you're pretty English-challenged AND paranoid.
Now pretty much all Spanish-speaking Facebook pages and outlets in general are reporting about the mysterious revealing tweet by the malicious teen. I'm starting to feel bad for her.

I've wondered this, too. Also, why would Jon make it very difficult for Richie to return, as Richie stated?

I still think it's some sort of disagreement between Jon and Richie. When Richie was quoted as saying, "Jon thinks he can fill stadiums by himself", to me, that says that Richie isn't feeling appreciated in some way, and seems to suggest he left the tour (at least, in part) to say: 'Oh, yeah? Think I'm not needed? Let's see you fill the stadiums without me.' Meanwhile, apparently Bon Jovi management is telling promoters, 'We have a guitarist in Phil X who is at least as good if not better than Richie' and Jon is alluding that U2 losing The Edge would be a "God forbid" scenario while Richie...not so much.

It seems like a bunch of petty sniping to me.

There was also talk on another forum I am on about Ava's Tweet to the effect of: "It's sad that you are replacing your best friend with someone else." They thought it was alluding to her dad and Jon. As the follow-up convos on Ava's Twitter were posted, though, it appeared it wasn't about that at all. I doubt Ava takes any kind of enjoyment in rattling up her dad's fan base; teens tend to be self-focused and their Tweets tend to regard friends rather than parents.

I think we're about to hear some MAJOR news:
