Yep, but that cut in Its my life? gave way to No Apologies. A very strange thing, and then came back to Misunderstood in the middle of the performance.

Rdkopper 02-05-2022 01:35 AM

And the decline continues.

- We first get random so / so shows but it's a good start

- then the following majority are shows that every diehard has in their collection

- Now we are getting partial 6 to 8 song sets.

Last week was an 8 song set cut to 6
Tonight was a full show cut to 8

There is something very wrong with the way this band functions and runs.

I bet fans are losing interest, Sirius listeners are down on the BJ channel, and now they want less live stuff and more studio hits/tracks.

It's a matter of time when they pull the plug on Bon Jovi Radio.

I think you're vastly overestimating the amount of people giving enough thought about this and how bad it is. Joe Q Public hears the band sounding good in a live setting playing a hit and says "this is good". You'd have to be an absolute obsessive to note "oh they skipped Undivided here". Guess which one this radio station is for? The one with numbers. If there was an audience worth catering to we'd be drowning in releases from them.

YOVANAfromPeru 02-05-2022 01:55 AM

Bush Empire without Keep The Faith?
I can't take "Sirius" this radio...

Captain_jovi 02-05-2022 01:57 AM

Such a great KTF and Bed Medicine. SO annoying. One of my favourite performances of Joey.

bonjovi90 02-05-2022 09:37 AM

This was one of their best promo shows ever, the performances from Joey to Undivided, from Bad Medicine to Keep The Faith were epic. And they've all been cut! Quite pissed with this one!

rolo_tomachi 02-05-2022 02:41 PM

Now they are repeating the show, and it has the same playback issues on Its My Life. Missunderstood is complette though. Did that happen to anyone else?

When Blood On Blood is playing...

That's a pressed bootleg from the webcast and it's not Never Say Goodbye, the last track is "applause and say goodbye" which is bullshit to put on an audio CD to begin with.
It was discussed in this very thread, just two pages back.

Big disaster.

Good to know. I'll try to capture them.

Notice how there was no Obie intro or outro... someone else probably ran with it and messed something up.

This time some compilation from 1989.

I don't think there's much from 89 that was used as B-sides?

Off the top of my head only...

Lay Your Hands On Me - Giants Stadium
I'll be There For You - Florida
Living In Sin - Florida

bonjovi90 02-11-2022 12:32 AM

I think "compilation from '89" means the New Jersey tour.
We had six live tracks from 1988 (Paris, London, Birmingham):
Bad Name, BTBMB, BOB, Runaway, LOAP, Bad Medicine

The three tracks you mentioned from 1989:
LYHOM, IBTFY, LIS, BOB (unknown one from the NJ Special Edition in 2010)

And at least one from 1990:
Tokyo Road

More than enough for a compilation

And Going Back (1990).
:)

When was the live debut of Cadillac man? maybe December 1989?

So it is possible, though it won't happen. But... imagine that Obie includes that song. It would be very crazy right?

Rdkopper 02-11-2022 01:52 AM

Are you all aware of the continued disappointment from this band?

I think it's tracks from their scrapped live album that was supposed to come out in 1990... Probably an hours worth of 8 songs that eventually made their way to Bsides

Then they'd just play the Rotterdam show from '89. And we basically have a full soundboard of that one.

Interesting. I know of BOB, Runaway, LOAP and Bad Medicine being released as B-sides. Where did Bad Name and BTBMB appear?

There are other soundboard shows from 1989 but they've come to light for different reasons. The only confirmed one being related to the "Eggs&Whiskey" album is Rotterdam. Surely they have more in the archives. They were recording in Europe in 1988 and in 1989.

Its shocking, so lazy and unprofessional but its what we have come to expect. They always cut corners, take the cheap route and clearly don't care.
JBJ exp is just another example of the cheap route and how to treat fans badly.
Sure the main man only has interest in promoting wine, perhaps that's guilt for missing so many things when his kids were young

rolo_tomachi 02-11-2022 11:57 PM

Well, let's have a positive attitude, and see what this night holds, who knows, maybe they will surprise us with some unreleased live track that is worth it.

The Show start:

No Obie Intro

-Ill Be There For You (1989 Tour) -It doesn't look like Florida 89, the ending is different. - I'm not sure, but maybe it's also Florida 89, but this looks like a longer, extended. Maybe the single version was cut?

-Living In Sin (1989 Tour) Different, the begining is not Florida 89. What show will it be? wait, this one is Florida 89, the begining is different but the rest is the same performance.

-Lay Your Hands On Me (1989 Tour) After the intro, Jon says something like Boys this is the Round two. But my English is very bad, so I could misunderstand him.

-Let It Rock (1989 Tour) No idea where this is from.

-You Give Love A Bad Name (1989 Tour)

-Born To Be My Baby (1989 Tour)

-I'd Die For You (1989 Tour)

-Wild In The Streets (1989 Tour) The beginning It looks like Moscow, but at one point it says something like "dancing Vancouver" ?, I repeat, maybe I'm misunderstanding it.

-Wanted Dead Or Alive (1989 Tour)

-ONLY ****ING LONELY (1989 Tour) As impressive as the soundcheck. ****ing great.

END

He sure did, so we are looking at the second night somewhere, or possible the second take for the recording of a live album.

bonjovi90 02-12-2022 12:50 AM

Currently not listening, but gotta check afterwards. My gut feeling tells me it might be the 2nd night in Portland since they recorded this (not only the LYHOM video, but the audio from the BOB video is from there as well).

I can't compare the tracks because I'm recording this, but except for the first few, the others aren't familiar to me. Even the first ones throw me off a lot, because they have different beginnings and outros.

We will have to analyze them calmly. Sounds very good.

Along with the London 88 show, it's the best show of the series (finally for me).

Yes. This one was good, some surprises, if a bit short. They could have put Wild Is The Wind or 99 in the Shade for example, it would have been the icing on the cake.
