Sorry, I think twitter seems a disaster. |

We have a JBJ translator thread, we should have one for Rolo. |
Question: If the band was planning to release another box set in 2014 for their 30 year anniversary, would Richie have to agree on that? Does he hold more cards than just the refusal to tour until whatever is worked out? Or is that only up to Jon since he's the one signed with the label. Anyone know?

Looks like I missed myself some Richie fun during my weekend off. Shame it seems he walked off the tour for some argument or issue with Jon and chose to let his fans see shows without him. Disappointed. But hopefully he will get his shit together and get back with the band eventually and this will go down as (another) blip. But that Nikki Lund is really not a good influence on him and his decision making.
And will someone just slap the man and tell him he looks like a total helmet? Jesus he looks like my nan. The cool has been sucked out of him. |
I Gotta admit Rolo, it was a funny reply!
I agree on the look Bounce7800. People have said he was looking more and more like an old woman. And unfortunately somehow it's true :-( |

What people were becoming frustrated at was the predictable posts that half the time had no relevancy nor made sense, and that quite often were posts where HE told others that their opinion was wrong. Good to see he isn't the only predictable one playing to type though... |
That woman is fishy...

Richie has chosen to do something with his time. Why don't we all just wish him well, and good luck until he returns. What a miserable bunch of shit-stirrers! (Not all of you ... some of you sexually lust after). |

I actually do think that Nikki has an influence.
Well, maybe influence is the wrong word but in the interviews Richie has done on Bon Jovi in the past week, she has made a comment whilst he is doing the interview or is acting up in the back. Can't say I'm a fan of her. |
Don't get the hate for Nikki, what's she done?
Good looking woman by the way. |

If I was Richie and it was a choice between looking at Jon's ass every night or dicking Nikki Lund then I'd have done the same as Richie. |

Hey, everybody, I'm back... I was gone for a few days for the show in Milan. Took me a while to catch up with the thread, but I made it!
I gotta tell you, this was painful. The new chapter to this epic cluster**** happened right while we were losing our heads over waiting lines just a few hours before the show in Milan started. Watching the RumorFix video on my friend's iPhone was quite the task, given the crappy audio. I'm home and I finally got to understand everything that he said. We now know that Richie's personal problem somehow is related to the band. It was quite obvious already, but now it's official. Also, just as I thought, we know that Richie's intention to come back for the Hyde Park show (wasn't it July 5th, by the way?) was made-up bullshit, he says it's untrue. We know that right now he's in Europe with his daughter and ex-wife and will be for a while. He also seems to be wanting to return sometime during this tour. I think after summer could be a reasonable time. He says he will be back, he seems pretty definite about it. I believe his consequent tweet where he says nothing is happening at the moment and those were just his hopes should be read as a way to set the record straight for those who were already throwing out big headlines about Richie coming back in September. I do think Nikki cutting in during his interview speaks volumes and that "we" shouldn't be a word she uses when talking about Bon Jovi, or actually she shouldn't be talking about Bon Jovi at all. What the ****?!? It's weird seeing him so passionate about this fashion thing, it's unsettling even. And not because I expect him to stay at home staring at the ceiling, I do get it that he's gotta keep himself busy and that there's nothing wrong with that (we ruled out he's not on tour with Bon Jovi for reasons that are not health-related or such a long time ago already), but yeah, maybe a couple more guitar pictures and a couple less fashionable ones would have been less of a shock, if you know what I mean. As for Richie's looks. Wow... He looks fine to me. I could be blind or not be an expert, but I don't see all these obvious symptoms that he's this big cocaine addict. I mean, that escalated quickly, from the bottle to the white stuff. |

Would this be the first time with no shows in Japan or the rest of Asia? |

He looks to be on something to me. |

I can understand him being sick of the band, wanting to spend time with his daughter, wanting to be the next Karl Lagerfeld or whatever the reason is. But I can't understand him bailing in the middle of the tour. If you love your fans, show up for them. He should have bailed before or after the tour if things were so bad for him in the band. We still don't know what it is, but it doesn't matter. I was really sad (depressed even) when we first found out he wouldn't be performing, and I miss him at shows, I really do; but now I've almost stopped caring. Would I love to see him on that stage again? Hell yes. Will I cry about it until that happens? Not anymore, no. I hope the truth comes out eventually, but the way things are looking right now, he doesn't want to be there... There's nothing we can do to change that. |

If he was torn (in a hypothetical world I'm creating) and thought "I'll give it a go and try to work it out" then surely he deserves respect for trying? If he put the fans before his own happiness to even put the effort in, if it wasn't what he wanted? Again, it's hypothetical. But I just don't get how one thing is better than the other in terms of when to bail right and wrongs.... |

That's honestly what I don't get. I'm pretty sure he DOES care (who wouldn't really?!?) and I imagine he's also quite upset about this whole thing (letting down the fans, the band, the gutter press talking trash, his reputation, etc.), no matter how tired he might be of the band or how much he wants to spend time with his daughter. He's gotta know he looks bad from an outside, surely distorted and incomplete perspective. He probably decided he doesn't care about how bad he looks and just wants to be happy and/or needs this matter, whatever it is, to be resolved at all costs. |

You have a big issue - something that in 30 years is the biggest issue in your "family". You consider it big enough to walk away from. Do you stay? It's utterly selfish to think a fan that's paid for a ticket (even if it's hotels and travel too) should be more important than making yourself happy over the best part of a year! He's spent his life neglecting family and friends for the sake of a rock n roll band. Personally, I think he's given more than enough over three decades to keep any fan happy. I know what it's like as a small-fry guitarist playing 3 shows a week. I've just got home and haven't seen my girlfriend for days. That's DAYS. Not weeks or months. Cut the guy some slack, stop putting your one night of musical enjoyment first, and think of the bigger picture. |
