Indeed he has, and I am far from crazy, not over a guitarist in some band anyway, I was mostly joking. However, he has never looked like that, if he has fair enough, show me an image similar to the one above. I honestly donīt remember one.

I donīt get why some people defend how he looks. He looks ****ing terrible and has for years, in fact he looks lots like my step mother.

I remember when he was on the National Lottery and he looked just as bad, if not worse than that photo.

In no way shame or form am I defending the way he looks, I don't think it's good look for him. I'm just making the point that he's been making questionable fashion and makeup choices since the 80's.

He wasn't even out of the band in second one and look at him.

bonjovi821 10-12-2013 02:06 AM

Richie has never looked as much like a woman as right now.

golittleperson 10-12-2013 03:29 AM

IMO, the aftermath band sounded like a band - def. better than the Nikki inspired CBAM (had her family not been involved I could have handled that one.) I've never before noticed the eyeliner, and I've looked at lots of pics,;). More Nikki. The pictures with Denise, (another fame whore, typical) I don't see liner but both times they were together was when by his own admission he was heavy into the bottle and probably more. It will make you look old and flush faced. He also lives in such a shallow town.
Now, when I can find a not photoshop, no fashionista Nikki era influenced picture I think he's a nice looking man. But, I'm an over 40 female, I hope my taste is different from many of you. I have some more current but can't get the link. Think starbucks pics with Ava, real.
I am a Richie fan, but wish HE would say something about the JB situation, I don't know enough to blame him or Jon but suspect both are at fault, and he did make the first move by not showing up. Of course, those outside influences taking advantage......... Wake up Sambo, I really miss the guitar man.

SadieLady 10-12-2013 03:37 AM

To Jon and Richie:
"You wake up, move on
The 30 years gone
30 years gone.
Hung up cold and reeling
Wounded deep inside
Can't find the road to healing
When you're blinded by you're pride..."

Slakk 10-12-2013 03:53 AM

He needs to tear up the card to the plastic surgeon stop taking whatever he is taking/drinking and pull his head out of his rear end. He looks like he was ridden hard and put away wet.

And take the make up off it is not covering anything

Kind of like Kings of Suburbia?

By the way, David Ryan Harris is one hell of a guitar player. He was in John Mayer's band for 5 or 6 years and played with Dave Matthews Band before that. Can't really say the same about Jon's solo band guitarist, can we.

If you're in any way trying to imply that Riche's band is somehow good because of some meaningless trivia.. Just stop. Riche is a clueless moron, and just like Jon Bon, whatever talent he clearly had is long gone.

I've got to say (and not just directed at you) but I hate this comparisons that is always brought up. Can't it be directed at Richie's band without bringing up Jon's? and vice versa? It gets old.

Uh, you could say he's played with Jon Bon Jovi for years though.

Captain_jovi 10-12-2013 04:25 PM

What a silly point. Because Bobby hasn't played with John Mayer he's less of a player? I don't care for him with BJ but Bobby has been around for decades in other bands.

DestinationJovi 10-12-2013 05:16 PM

You guys need to chill the F out. I was responding to the post that said Richie's solo band looks like a pub band. DRH is anything but a pub player. He's a bad-ass.

And he can sing too.

Is this the event they were around 3 hours late for? Someone posted on Facebook that most of the crowd had left by the time they got there.

What few people are asking is this;

How the **** did one of the coolest mother-****ers on the planet in a huge, huge band go from there to this?

Richie, you ****ed up bro!

Agreed. A friend of mine went to this thing and she said they were hours late and when they got there NO apology at all. When she had her picture taken with Richie and Nikki, neither of them got up from their stools and her take on Richie was that he seemed well under the influence...now, that was her take so. She did say there were maybe 80 people there, maybe.

efiste2 10-13-2013 05:22 PM

Who would want their picture taken with Nikki Lund, she just reminds be of a plastic looking Heather, and the originator of the original BON JOVI TRAIN WRECK. As has been said the once king of Swing and one of the best rock guitarists out there, is now pushing T shirts and knickers in department stores!!!!!

rolo_tomachi 10-13-2013 05:26 PM

Richie has to be going through a personality disorder or something.

WTF Richie???

What will be the next?

punk hair?

Found this on FB, seems to me a pretty good size crowd for a mall event that was 3 hours late getting started. IDK - I wasn't there - IF it had been close, maybe even with my distain for how Lund has interfered in too much music related I would have gone to see for myself so to speak. Couldn't look at her long. I miss the Sambo music man. As to those shirts, I would have been all over one - but I'm shameless - TO A Point. I couldn't have resisted the chance to brush that hair in back given the chance. Why did no one till him?? Headrest or hat hair.

efiste2 10-13-2013 06:30 PM

from 60,000 adoring fans in a stadium to 60 in a dept store.....Come on Richie WTF

Sissy3 10-13-2013 07:12 PM

I think some of those people way in the back were just regular shoppers. And if you want a good look at his messy hair, check out Getty Images.

I am sure once they got there, everyone in the store, including those just there to shop went to see what was going on.

JoviJovi 10-13-2013 07:23 PM

Also, I've seen some of the pics with fans and Richie and Nikki and at least 90% of them are way outside of the NikkiRich demographic (that's about as nicely as I can put it.) So I'm not sure what was really accomplished. The items are so basic and so overpriced that, unless they're rich, they won't even be buying as gifts. I am sure the sambora t shirts will sell though but I don't think that was their business plan.

Richie has shown himself to be incapable of actually doing decent promo work for his own record, which is supposed to be his turf. Now he's working in an era he's not familiar with and it kind of shows how little he knows about doing proper promo work. It's a joke, and the fact that no media actually picks up on him kind of shows how little interest there is in general.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Everyone there had him signing their music related memorabilia. I didn't see any photos of him signing their NikkiRich dress!

Those were Bon Jovi fans. I wonder if anyone had the balls to ask him what was going on.

The picture of the man with his young son, holding a guitar, is what confirmed in my mind, that a lot of these people were there to see Richie Sambora currently/formerly(?) of Bon Jovi, and not there to buy Nikki's overpriced clothing. That's why Nikki hitched her fashion wagon to his name recognition. OK the kid in the picture is the one who's dad was holding the guitar, which I assume he wanted signed.

Von Maur has one of their jackets on the web site now, $138. Now I have paid more than that a few times for a nice jacket but my personal economy is not as good now either, not alone in that. As to their "demographics" - per their N/R site a US L is a 10-12. The average US female is a 14. There was no XL listed on the jacket I saw and It looked like a Jr. cut. I'd be afraid IF I wanted it, to order it. Their target does seem to be more Jr. or Hollywood thin.

I think it was Sassy3 who had the link to that hair. OMG. I know he gets a lot of flack but remember when someone told him the video for Every road would be great if his hair was blond? He had very dark hair young and that took some bleach, then he went back lighter brown very soon after. Women probably know where I'm going here - unless you really work at it - the hair is dry and destroyed. Add he's 54.

Lastly, Did he really have to take Sean Borg?? More tacky press to follow I assume.

Definitely agree. But, if you go back a few pages, I suspect that is also why interviews would not be scheduled separately. Saw on FB, one fan who was there said she ask if he would be back and he said "maybe."
