Soon will be born the son of Phil, if Richie not return, this guy could be the next replacement:

Damn, Kirk Hammett is not irreplaceable.

I read this rumor somewhere else too. Did you actually see it? I have yet to find a picture or video with said Stetson... If anyone does, I'd love to see it. Tickets to my closest show just hit Groupon and I know I'm dreaming but IF there were any shot Richie were back -

Pretty much:

http://www.thenorthernecho.co.uk/lei...__re_Bon_Jovi/

Lead guitarist Richie Sambora has not travelled to Europe. There’s been plenty of theories why, but Torres says it’s down to personal matters and says that there will always be a place for someone he regards as a brother.

“Of course it affects us,” he said.

“But everybody goes through this.

You have got to give him the time to work through it. We miss him and would love to have him back, but we are all human. Everyone has to go through their own situations in their own time. We have to be supportive, and we are.

“I think everything comes with age. There is a certain amount of camaraderie that comes with being in a band. Initially, with the five original members, it was us against the world. I don’t mean in a bad sense. It was ‘Let’s go out there and show them what we’ve got. Put on the greatest show we can’.

“There have been a lot of stories about the Rolling Stones and they are still together. You find there are bands that can work through it , and there are some that just break up. We care about each other, care about Richie and his health, and that is more important. When you sort that that out then you can go: ‘Let’s play music’.”

David's interview posted 15 hrs ago

http://rockcandy.omaha.com/2013/10/1...boras-absence/

The ball is in Richie's court, so David and both Rico are saying the same thing now. I just think the fans need answers as am sure a lot of u have already said.

Richie is still apart of the band, but doesn't make sense when the photo on Facebook just shows 3 not 4 members

I was at the Vegas show and noticed this, but then never gave it another thought and forgot about it. Then someone else mentioned it and the possible meaning. They said it was in a bad medicine video from the Spokane show. You can see it around the 1:03 mark.

I see what you are talking about, but I used a large screen/pause and it looks IMO to be a stage lamp with a halo wrap, it's turned face on so you don't see the depth. It's not on. I think we are just getting too hopeful when it's too late - for this tour anyway. Thanks for posting.

Let's say it's a hat. So? What?

Stranger11 10-20-2013 12:27 PM

Maybe it just waits there in case Phil wants to wear it during "Wanted"...

I hoped that it was obvious that I meant that in a kind of tongue in cheek way and not at all serious. Guess not.
Just the thought alone that Jon would put Richie´s stetson on stage is quite hilarious.

Sissy3 10-20-2013 05:29 PM

I paused it also for a better look. Don't know what it is but it doesn't look like a hat to me at all. Lord, if the Richie Twitter fans get a hold of this they'll go ape $hit.:D

A hat on stage ... "Taking Care of Business" being played ... Is it just coincidence ?

jdanielross 10-21-2013 01:39 AM

I know it's a bummer that RS is out and the shows aren't really as good but it's kinda fun to follow Phil X on social media and see what a blast he seems to be having. The band could definitely learn how to better utilize social media from him. I'm happy for the guy.

Agreed! I am so shocked that the band as a whole and their individual members do not use social media and don't understand their reasoning of avoiding doing so. What a great why to make fans happy and to engage them.

So I assume you two are the ones that constantly keep asking, begging for a RT from him?

Because they're no longer a passionate band. They're more passionate about their lives outside of the band (which most of us don't have an interest in....jamming with fabric, for example). I don't have a problem with that. I'd rather deal with a lack of passion than to be misled. The good ole days of the band being as passionate about the band and their fans as we are about the band have ended....hence the # of people on this board that have declared their lack of passion in the last few years.

Not me. I look on his site occasionally (less and less) but have never asked for a RT. And I don't read the responses to his Tweets. Sorry to burst your bubble.

jdanielross 10-21-2013 09:05 PM

My life is not so empty that I beg for RTs from anyone. :)

Since this has pretty much become the "anything goes"-thread:

With a slightly different production, this could EASILY pass as a post-HAND BJ tune. And it'd be among the rockier ones from most of these albums!

Also, guess who co-wrote it.

Let's try and keep this a John "I killed Bon Jovi" Shanks free zone.

Alphavictim 10-22-2013 04:54 AM

Safe for the chorus, it's actually a pretty cool song!

Indeed... I think we found the 5th new song that should have been on the Greatest Hits.

I can kind of understand Jon not having a Twitter a/c because he would be inundated with stupid girly tweets. I think he could use the Bon Jovi Twitter a/c occasionally though. All that's used for is promoting stuff.

Latest picture (I think) of Richie and Nikki.

That pic is from early 2011 when they were at the Superbowl for their fashion line. The Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders were the models in a fashion show they did. A couple of months later Richie was in rehab.

Thank you! I wasn't sure if it was new but I didn't realise that it was that old!

CKatz 10-23-2013 06:02 PM

Richie is doing the Cost of Carbon event with Al Gore for his Climate Reality Project. You can watch live here: www.24hoursofreality.org

@ClimateReality : @AlGore & @TheRealSambora. What do they have in common? They'll wrap up our big finale to the #CostOfCarbon! http://bit.ly/CostOfCarbon

@ClimateReality: Any fans of @TheRealSambora? Tune in at 11 am PT for a live performance on 24 Hours of Reality: The #CostOfCarbon! http://bit.ly/CostOfCarbon

Sissy3 10-23-2013 07:08 PM

Al Gore?! Jon will be so jealous, that's one of his old political man crushes. :D

CKatz 10-23-2013 08:57 PM

Richie performed Leon on Me. It's on YouTube now:

That bluesy voice is amazing. This is what I love to see!

liljovi93 10-23-2013 09:51 PM

Richie has piled on the pounds again! Look at the photo he just put up with Al Gore on Twitter.

This is a decent performance. He sounds like a guy that hasn't sung in seven months, it's good but no where near Richies best voice.

It looks like he's wearing a terrible wig and he has a turkey neck but damn I miss that voice harmonizing with Jon's on tour.

Tom_K 10-24-2013 12:01 AM

Interesting choice of song considering the lyrics. Is there a song more fitting the current situation?

liljovi93 10-24-2013 12:33 AM

Alright performance. Vocals seemed to be lacking that extra bit of power he usually has.

"Please....swallow your pride....". *I miss Richie....I've seen the band maybe 10-12 times in a row now with no Richie.....X was great/did good...but at end of day, he's no Richie Sambora!

He did start a bit off key but he pulled it back. Can be as simple as not performing in some time or a crappy ear piece. As someone else said he was playing to a film crew not a crowd and you can tell by his reaching out - he's probably more at home with feedback live. I know I have a horrid crush but he looked good to me, nothing fake like so many of the lund take over pictures et al... And basically - I am just happy he was making music! :)

Bounce7800 10-24-2013 10:00 AM

See, the situation with Jovi would have been soothed a lot more if he was doing stuff like this rather than the fashion nonsense.

jovifan93 10-24-2013 10:01 AM

Song choice and adlibs at the end could sure be interpreted as a message to Jon ("call me" about 10000x times at the end), but I'm not one of those conspiracy theorists ;)

Thierry 10-24-2013 10:12 AM

He looks like a transsexual.
