Well the thing is, here in Italy BB was initially released only digitally on Aug. 21, and then on Aug. 28 it was released on physical format. And considering that the physical market is still predominant here, that's why you see the big jump in the chart.

So... basically because of a retarded UMG decision the record didn't make it to #1.

2nd week:

#7 Switzerland
#9 Czech Republic
#11 Israel
#19 Belgium (Flanders)
#23 Belgium (Wallonia)

Being released on August 28 in Argentina (digitally before, but phisically after that date), Burning Bridges managed to rank #5 on August's ranking. Pretty awesome if you ask me.

Also, Bon Jovi is the highest ranked album from an international artist; and only one studio album ranked higher (Luciano Pereyra - Tu Mano) as the 3 others were greatest hits and a soundtrack.

The top 5 goes like this:
  1. Luciano Pereyra - Tu Mano
  2. Esperanza Mia - Esperanza Mia
  3. Mercedes Sosa - Lo Mejor De Mercedes Sosa
  4. Fito Paes - Lo Mejor de Fito Paes
  5. Bon Jovi - Burning Bridges

Note 1: I removed Israel because I couldn't find a proper official Album Chart list to keep the numbers updated.
Note 2: For the Canadian Album Charts, from week 4 onwards, I'll be using the MediaTraffic.de Charts as Billboard only lets you see the top 15 albums.
