I think one or two live tracks of this were on the Make A Memory single.

Aloha !
Out of all the supposedly surprising full shows none are actually true hidden gems. Of everything they've released it's pretty common knowledge this is in the vault. It makes me wonder if they actually do have any full shows out there other than what's already mastered for previous b-side releases. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |

SiriusXM Bon Jovi Radio ch. 709 stuff
This kind of material is what the experience members thought they were getting last year when they signed up.
Good news that a box set is coming as it’s will nearly 20 years since 100m in 2023. I agree SWW would now be not so great live. Really thought they were gonna do that at the o2 residency. Theses days the setlists are picked so that they are easier for Jon to sing but he still struggles. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Make A Memory and Lost Highway from this show were bonus tracks on Lost Highway (iTunes pre-order bonus tracks I think?) |
Lost Highway is not my favorite album, not my favorite tour either, so hey, it's not as exciting as the previous ones.
If as Seb says, they are playing safe by launching shows that somehow were partially used - to include some songs in singles and special editions of the past ... they could already launch Boston 2005 - Full Show. Blaze Of Glory Acoustic from HAND Tour always fascinated me, it had a different epic. I always wanted a full show from Bounce Tour and HAND Tour, I don't mean the promo shows. Boston 2005 seemed like a good show, and at some point it was even on the verge of come out on dvd, but things got cold. A shame. I hope Sirius brings it back with a full show at some point. |
Here is a couple of clips from Cannery Ballroom 2007.
Anyone know the full setlist? Jon sang Hallelujah? |
If I remember correctly, there were two shows. One like March 1st, one around March 28th or so. One might've been just been a few new songs like this one though:

I hope they played at least 12 songs. It would be disappointing if they only played 6 songs. |

it's sad but true. personally, I prefer to listen to old radio concerts of the time rather than going to see them in concert. I last saw them in Dusseldorf in 2019 and at times it was pathetic. DEF LEPPARD was playing in the first part and it was so much better. I have been a huge fan since '84 but when it was stopped it had to be done in time. |
|
great job. pity that we can not find the concert for download. And here, we cannot share concerts. Sad

Do you know when LH was played in the set ?

Haven't listened to it yet, but was Bad Name a dry start? Or did someone take Jon to the C beforehand?
I'd also assume it was the opener. |

Unless Jon walked out and spoke to the crowd prior to the start (like he did at the hall of fame), I don't think Bad Name was the opener. Sent from my SM-A015V using Tapatalk |
They also opened with Lost Highway throughout the tour so it just makes sense.

I hope they launch soon Wembley Arena 1988 on JBJ Experience . . |
Well, we only have an audience version, an official version and an FM broadcast version of London Palladium thus far. So a compressed mono recording really is missing for the collection

What a strange choice. Wasn't there a fan club digital edition or something that included all of the stories Jon told before each song? Maybe it's that version. Still, disappointing...

Typical Bon Jovi management. One step forward, two steps back.
They did 4 promo shows. 2 were released professionally and 2 weren't. With that logic one would think that the unrealsed Red Bank show would be the obvious choice. I think some of these choices come down to what's already been mixed/mastered. Even if they only planned on releasing certain songs back then, they probably mix/master the entire shows and then make their choices after the fact. Sent from my SM-A015V using Tapatalk |
Too bad the band doesn't do like Metallica. The latter record 100% of their concerts and put them on sale on their site. You can even buy them in CD-R version with cover. In addition, it does not cost much. With Jon's pretty venal side, I'm amazed it hasn't been done yet.
