The rest are probably 7s except Reckoning which I'd probably give a 6

Certainly better than expected but for me the guitar work is what let's this one down, Shanks style is too formula and Mr X just sounds a mess... it's a shame as with a real guitar player that fits this album could have been so much better.

It is still better and different to some of the output post 2000.

Nice to see JBJ said the bonus tracks (Luv Can and Shine) are "boy-girl love songs".
Not nice to see he said American Reckoning is probably the best song he ever wrote.

Dont have high expectations on these then, there are few BJ love songs I rally like. Exceptions are always, bed of roses and ill be there for you

Theres quite a few nods to classic rock in there. The piano and guitar break in story of love (Layla), Pink Floyd and dire Straits (BITW) and Creedence (Brothers in arms) :)
