I can upload a Keep The Faith video from 1995 saying "This is great" and then the Cleveland one saying "This is good,not great"

Terrible song slowed down way too much, but Jon and the band don't sound good. Something sounds very off.

I wouldn't call Cleveland 2013 great. Even for 2013, it was an average show, I think.

It was an OK show. Jon’s voice is weaker than 2011, but he could still sing back then.

I am not talking about the whole show but about this specific performance of the song. Which I think was brilliant.

Yeah we all know Richie is missing, but it doesn't really matter if Jon can pull off good vocals.

Jon is 75%+ of the band. If he was somehow miraculously singing by 2008 standards Richie absence wouldn't even be noticed, the band sounds great.

@Neurotica: Dry County written on the audible list means hope.

I want to read some real singers / voice coaches opinion on this debacle. Is there a way back or this is it for our frontman's voice?

I also think that show is overrated, simply because it was long and broadcasted. However, compared to now, it seemed out of this world.
