Bruce plays 4 hour + show

"In fact, the show was even longer if you count a five-song acoustic set Springsteen performed as the crowd came into the stadium."

Hopefully JBJ is taking note as Bruce regularly has been playing 3 to 3.5hour sets on this tour. Time to step it up next tour JBJ..

Who wants to see a 4 hour Bon Jovi show? It works with Bruce because he has such a diverse back catalogue and attentive fans.

I'll keep my eye out for you Ice!

I would love to see a show longer than the normal 2-2.5 hours if it means that the band would play songs that are not part of the regular rotation. I am certain most of the people on this board feel the same way.

Although Bruce has a great back catalog of music, I think Bon Jovi has more than enough material to fill 3-3.5 hours with good songs.

The thing is, Bruce can still sing his catalogue, Jon is hardly able to sing the older songs of BJ properly without sounding nasal and out of breath after 2 lines. Bruce is in a way better shape then Jon is. Bruce works his ass off for his fans where Jon let people work their ass off for him but slacks himself.
I agree with ticos_stick. 4 hours of BJ with Jon's current voice will probably bore me out real quick. In the end BJ will be more and more lost glory (despite the fun I still have at their shows) where Bruce keeps raising the bar and manages to live up to it in the end.

I salute you,
TS

Hahaha thanks! Must say we're over the moon about the 4 shows we got so far (2 in Prais and 2 here)...whatever NJ brings will be a bonus for sure.
