Its something to do with the Isle of Wight as Absolute are sponsors.

Would be better if Sky Arts were broadcasting whole gig at Isle of Wight live, rather than the 4 song highlights we are getting the weekend after.

Not to sure, but don't they already say on the advert for the IOW festival that they will have highlights of Bon Jovi among other bands.

may be its just they will braodcast the entire gig.

I have absolutely nothing to support it (SHOCKER!) but my gut now tells me (Hey, it's as reliable as Matt or Obie....right?!) that it's nothing to do with alcohol, or parental responsibilities ... they've just fallen out.
Musical differences ... perhaps.
Who knows.
But my guess would be there was never a plan for a Richie to rejoin this tour.
Maybe it's all over, for now. Maybe it's not.
But it seems pretty clear they're leading the fans on by giving them false hope that he's going to show up at any point.

A furious Richie Sambora sent Jon Bon Jovi a terse three word email after the Bon Jovi frontman suggested he was unlike U2‘s The Edge and a replaceable guitarist — the latest salvo in the pair’s simmering feud.

“It read, ‘Hire The Edge,’” a source with knowledge of the missive told RadarOnline.com.
