Thanks for the heads-up. I'll make sure NOT to go there, or I'll end up getting banned from Facebook without a doubt. I don't want that and I don't need to read their bullshit. But you guys are heroes for doing what you're doing, seriously.

The abuse Erik received was ridiculous.

They also believe 100% that the band can't sell any tickets next tour without Richie as he is 'the main man'.

Everyone should read the 'Richie Sambora Fans' page on Facebook. Absolutely embarrassing.

Do you know what's embarrassing?

A 19 year old man going around with a 20 year old man on Facebook trying to stick up for Jon Bon Jovi. You should be out getting drunk and laid but instead you're online trying to one up other sad internet people. That's the real tragedy here.

Seems okay to say what they like about JBJ because Richie of course is an angel fallen from heaven and of course hes not shown up for work but that's ok because obviously his adoring fans love him unconditionally and whatever he's doing must of course be satan Jon's fault.

You've been spouting the same drivel for the past few weeks. You like Jon over Richie, we get it. Go drink an Irn Bru and vote for independence. Something good might come of it.

Somebody telling another person how they should act and how they should live. That's the real tragedy here.

Haha it was great. I eventually stopped commenting. No way I could win, even when I stated plain, logical arguments they replied with "Y U ON RICHIE SAMBORA FAN PAGE THEN GET OUT LOL"

First of all: Love's The Only Rule country?! People, you really need to tell us what you're smoking. LTOR has nothing to do with Lost Highway, please listen an album before talking about it.

No. It's not. And no, it has not. Production, well, can't save sh*t with sparkles.

Lost highway can't be marked as turning point though. Out goes rock and in comes.....whatever.

So the fact that, according to you, it isn't "rock" makes it crap? First of all rock is a very open musical genre, and second, a song or album might not be "rock" and still be good.

People that say Lost Highway is crap ('cause they don't say they don't like it, just say that it's crap) never give a good argument or just say that it isn't rock. That doesn't make it bad.

And gotta agree with Captain_Jovi, Saturday Night has that country-ish sound not so far to the one on Lost Highway but still everyone likes it.

How do you know they haven't stayed true to themselves? How do you know they didn't honestly wanted to do Lost Highway and didn't do it for the money. Jon couldn't believe it when the album was #1. They're 50, Klaus Meine said once "I can't write all the time songs about chasing girls, give me a break!". Yes, I love those duets. And you seem to forget that his group is a bunch of people, people that change with time and that "staying true to themselves" now can mean something different than when they were 25. I used to listen only metal when I was 13, now I listen everything, and I listen songs that I never believed I could hear back them. People change, bands change.

Also, Bon Jovi was never a "rock" band, they were always a pop band, they always took influences from the trends and elaborated their own sound, they always were a "pop-metal" band, a "pop-rock" band or a "pop-country rock" band, that's what they are and what they always were.

About Bobby, I won't say anything, I want him out too :p

Oh wow! It must have been kind of like trying to convince people here that it's a shame fans are giving up on Richie before they have all the facts. And we've seen what a lost cause THAT is!

I guess the question I have is why were you even ON a Richie Sambora fan page (hello, that would be a hint!) trying to convince anyone that they should look at the facts logically. That's hard enough to do on this board where there's a mix of Jon, Richie, and Band fans.

Did it cross your mind that you just might be opening yourselves to some abuse?

So does What's Left Of Me. And even Wanted is country-ish. The thing is, these songs don't suck.

What's Left Of Me is worse that anything in Lost Highway.

I don't get this. I'm on several "Jon Bon Jovi" fan pages and probably on some "Richie Sambora" fan pages, but if I see people talking crap, I call them out on it. Being a Richie Sambora fan or a Jon Bon Jovi fan or both (and yes, it's actually possible, surprise-surprise!) isn't a freeway to assholeness or plain stupidity. You can and should still be logical.
