The only thing about Richie's quote about Jon wanting to fill up stadiums by himself is that RICHIE is the one who left. Jon didn't say, "Be gone so I can fill up stadiums without you." We know Richie left. He wasn't kicked out. So the quote doesn't make a whole lot of common sense. (Which is why, if it's true that he said it, I think Richie may have a mental problem/ego problem/depression/whatever.)
