i take it the barrowlands gig is a pretty big and easilly attainable bootleg then?

my band play the 2nd stage there back in the day :-D

oasis are superb. i went off them for a few years but they've come back into contention in my playlists.

mucky fingers came on my ipod yesterday. such a good tune considering it sounds like it was wrote and recorded in one take.

The Shock Of The Lightning is being played on the radio today! I've downloaded it and it's immense.

Supersonic 08-15-2008 11:14 AM

Aloha !

That song is immense indeed. This is how it's supposed to be done.

And what a ****ing setlist for the rehearsals:

1. Rock 'n' Roll Star
2. Lyla
3. The Shock of the Lightning
4. Cigarettes and Alcohol
5. The Meaning of Soul
6. To Be Where There's Life
7. Waiting For The Rapture
8. The Masterplan
9. Songbird
10. Slide Away
11. Morning Glory
12. Ain't Got Nothing
13. The Importance of Being Idle
14. I'm Outta Time
15. Wonderwall
16. My Big Mouth
17. Supersonic

Encore:
18. Don't Look Back In Anger (acoustic)
19. Falling Down
20. Champagne Supernova
21. I Am The Walrus

My Big Mouth! ****ing hell, I really hope I'll hear that one live upcoming tour with proper vocals from Liam. Never expected them to play that one again!

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I know, that was a ****ing amazing setlist, and one of the longest they've ever done too...They'd better play something like this on the new tour :D

Seb is spot on. The Shock Of Lightning is a ****ing great song. Just had it on repeat. I'm hoping to see it live at some point, but we will just have to see.

Thanks for the setlist, man! :)
