Well said.... I would have thought so too. Of course we have no idea, but it does seem a bit like he's just not that bothered. And I hope (if he is still bothered), that he doesnt think that playing the 'I don't give a f***k'-card will make Jon and everyone else want him back more desperately because clearly that's not the way things are heading...

Spot on. My thoughts exactly

so when will the announcement be that Richie will be out of the next leg of the tour and therefore the New Jersey shows?

Honestly, I really don't think anyone even cares anymore. Nobody that's a fan expects him back. Nobody that isn't a fan gives a rats ass.

In the media's eyes, the band is over. The biggest thing Bon Jovi has had going for it all these years is it's ability to stay together and the partnership of Jon and Richie. Without that, it's just a joke.

It's a shame but I have to agree with this.

Bon Jovi fans can slate new material but will still buy live tickets in bulk and have done for many, many years. But I think what this whole debacle has proved that without Richie they will not get the punters through the gates quite like they have done over the past.

Bon Jovi won't manage a world tour of this scale again unless Richie comes back - I for one am not interested in seeing Jon and his cronies going through the half-arsed motions again. They won't be able to compare themselves to the 'stadium filling' U2 or Rolling Stones, and will have to start stepping down to smaller venues with the likes of Guns N' Roses and co.

I seriously hope they will be offering refunds here as they did in Europe.

Such a shame... And these people call themselves professionals?

Don't expect that before this leg is over. There's only a week off between the last show in Europe and the first of the next leg. It will be during that week (all "IFs" apply, but I'm fairly positive he won't be back for the next leg, as I said in a recent post of mine).

I want him back and I don't expect him to be back for the next leg, but I still think and hope that 30 years won't go down the drain like this.
In the media's eyes, the band starts NOW. They couldn't be bothered when things went well for 30 years, but hell yes, they surely can now that times are tough.
You really said it all: "The biggest thing Bon Jovi has had going for it all these years is its ability to stay together and the partnership of Jon and Richie. Without that, it's just a joke."

Luckily I've never really gave a crap what the media thought about Bon Jovi.

KILL
"IT"
WITH
FIRE.

*"IT" being the subhumans afore mentioned.
I'll renew my wish that they get their ass kicked out of the venue and are never allowed to attend a Bon Jovi concert ever again even and especially if Richie comes back.

Why be so selfish and ruin the show for everyone else? I am sure this will piss Jon off.
