The biggest mistake he made with the video contest was tweeting about it after he left the tour. I was planning on sending a cover in until that happened but after the bust up just assumed that he wouldn't be doing it anymore so didn't. I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of others thought the same thing. To tweet about it afterwards and then not do anything is really bad form.

To not do anything either way was poor.

People put a lot of effort into that contest and he's disrespected their efforts. Regardless of whether he ignored the whole thing after he dropped off the tour or tweeted about like he did, it's still hugely disrespectful. The fact he tweeted afterwards and is still acting the prick just makes a dire situation worse.

The fella doesn't deserve any support in my view.

You use the word "forgot". I'm sure we all know he didn't forget. And I think we all know it's probably more likely that he's unable to do anything solo-album related while the BJ tour is underway.

If you think for a moment that he sat at home and thought "Oh f#'* all those guys who sent in videos....I can't be bothered" you're (likely) terribly mistaken.

You must have some horribly nasty emotions about him to vent that sort of reaction.

It seems like an awful amount of people can't wait to jump on Richie's back on here. This place is more backstage with JBJ than I thought.

Richie can not legally advertise the winner and go about your Album until you reach an agreement with Jon. I'm sure the lawyers are in it. Richie was the happiest with their promotion and record, this may be the problem of the whole thing. :neutral:

In Bon Jovi's latest Facebook posting about the kickoff of the upcoming USA stadium tour, most of the comments are asking about Richie....'when is Richie coming back,' 'fix your issues,' 'it's not Bon Jovi without Richie,' etc. Jon must be getting the message by now and hopefully some progress will be made. Does anyone know how the ticket sales are doing?
