You should have woke it up :p lol

my new camera is a fuji finepix f11, 6.3 mp. i have many functions yet to learn.
i wanted to post a pic but i had to resize it because it's 1.41mb and it lost its sharpness (it was a close shot). :( |
What do you use to edit your photo's? Whatever the resize function is there should be settings related to the sharpness, as we were discussing earlier, in regard to PhotoShop at least.
|
i don't have photoshop, i have the camera's programme, finepix viewer. but every time i try to resize the pictures they become blurry. i must be doing something wrong, i'll look better. :p

Here's a few more of mine taken yesterday:

Same boring train station design as Liverpool by the looks of that

Yet more...

Which is ur camera?. They are really great pics...
|
We were talking about that a few posts ago, both Raquel and I have the Hewlett Packard PhotoSmart 945. It's pretty basic as far as digital SLR camera's go, but for the price it is definitely worth it.

I've taken a few at Lime Street station in Liverpool but I've never got any I liked, not of the roof anyway. It is an interesting shape and perhaps I could get some good shots but the over-head cables get in the way.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...6-03-23116.jpg That is one I took this week (was already posted in here) I just had a look and found 1 that I sort of liked from last month http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...6-02-09064.jpg |

Sometimes things like that can be an advantage though, I know that sometimes I take photo's and don't expect much but when I look at them later there was something random happened and it made it a pretty good shot.

Nice, that pink flower one is nice, though the focus is ever so slightly off I think

I LOVE your pics Erik!!! Amazing!! when and where did you take them??
|
The first one is taken in Norway.. last year.
The other one of the red sea anemone fish is taken in Egypt. its taken two years ago.. And the third one is from my all time fav dive spot Hin Daeng in Thailand. taken last winter.. |
The last one is great, I must go there!! :D
Anyway, "Nemo fish" is still one of my favourite and it's very easy to see them in the Red Sea :) |

And then we have the tomatoes! Those are really good looking... |
Great pics Erik!!
I love scuba diving (or snorkeling for that matter), but I get sooo claustrophobic under water ... can get quite irrate, so I better stay away.. |
What an earth is the plant that the fish is swimming out of? it looks alien . Great pics though

Thanks for the nice comments.

The Liverpool skyline as of last night. Unfortunately, none of them tourned out very well on this occasion, but here is one I like...even though its a little blurry.

If you look carefully you can see cars being stolen :p
|
As I told you Kev you need a tripod to get good night shots, and learn how to use the manual settings on your camera nad try out some of the longer exposures. Anything more than 4 seconds will give you better results than that.

Using anything less than about 1/60 will show shakes without using a tripod really, especially long exposure night shots. If you can't get a tripod at least look for somewhere you can rest your camera, set the shutter speed and then set it to self timer so you don't cause it to shake even slightly from pressing the button.

Here are a few of mine from today.
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...6-04-01022.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...6-04-01025.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...6-04-01042.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...6-04-01046.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...6-04-01049.jpg I also have some pretty cool 360° panoramics from Liverpool, I just need to find a way to compress them a little before I can upload them. |
I managed to make my shockwave files smaller for uploading, these are all under 1mb and are interactive 360° panoramics. They work better as quicktime files, but they aren't too bad in this format.
These were taken in Liverpool Friday morning, the first in the small garden behind St George's Hall, and the other 2 on the bridge which goes over to my university building. http://img88.imageshack.us/my.php?image=sgarden7rt.swf http://img343.imageshack.us/my.php?i...yover010ez.swf http://img343.imageshack.us/my.php?i...yover028bs.swf |
