Funny Richie & Jon

Sissy3 07-11-2013 10:27 PM

Wonder if Jon and the guys even know what personal stuff he's "working through?" They may be as clueless as the rest of us.

Oh I'm sure they have a pretty good grasp on what is going on with him, but it seems obvious that there is nothing any of them can do to fix whatever it is, I mean if it was as simple as Jon sitting down and having a conversation with Richie, I'm pretty sure Jon would have savrd himself all the stress, bad press etc....... of the last weeks and just gone and done it.

Yeah, I sometimes think maybe it's something that's only "fixable" from Richie's side.

Yes, I was a Richie fan, but I am (or maybe "was") a fan of the band, too. My displeasure with the band as a whole is based on the sub-standard setlists that we get here in the U.S. rather than with Richie's non-appearance.

DING DING DING. Honestly that, not the Richie situation, is why I don't have tickets to either of the MetLife shows, and will only go to one of them if I end up getting a cheap ticket.

Also, evidence that JBJ does all he can to take care of his voice. When he's not "on", it isn't because he doesn't try or doesn't care.

Agreed. I'm a fan of the band, not just Jon or Richie. I just happen to believe that Richie's handled this unprofessionally and Jon has done nothing wrong. But that doesn't mean I'm a Jon-worshipper or a Richie-hater. That's just what I think from an objective viewpoint.

Agreed 200%.

That was good to read too.

No damnit - no cat eating. :D

Nikki's tribute to Richie on his birthday:

Also, no official mention of Richie's birthday on the Bon Jovi Facebook page. Instead, there is a post about heading to Australia in December.
