I wasn't saying I necessarily think it's Tommy's album, because I'm still leaning towards Richie's. But Destination Jovi raises some good points and these comments support them.

I still wonder, though, if they would be recording new material for Tommy's new album, if it's supposed to be released in 3 or 4 weeks? Especially if Tommy's just now recording the drums. Aren't drums and bass usually the first tracks recorded?

I could still be wrong, and maybe it's just wishful thinking; but I'm gonna stay with it being for Richie's album.

Here's a thought. Maybe they're recording in Tommy's home studio because he's got a better set-up for drums than Richie would probably have in his.

Exactly what I was thinking. If you want solid sounding drums, going to the drummers own studio makes sense to me. I'm more hoping than guessing but I've had this snippet stuck in my head and I'll enjoy it regardless of who it is.

Yeah they are all really good points, especially the drum sound. However, there's no way Tommy's album is coming out that soon if he doesn't even have a title and no song out yet....

That's what I was thinking when he first said it. And the podcast was like last week, iirc, so you'd think he'd have a decent idea of the timeline. Maybe he's just optimistic. If he doesn't have a title, he couldn't have cover art, or anything else promotion-wise, really. So I guess time will tell.

Richie looks very excited in the clip, so I'd say it's a Richie song. But...

Tommy posted this picture the same day he posted the video of him playing with the track of Richie singing in his Instagram stories. That's where that fan account got the video clip from.

But if his album is supposed to drop that soon, it does seem like this must be for Richie's.

As exciting as this all looks and sounds, having two heavy hitters from the same generation combine, I really don't want this turned into just a bunch of garbage..

The common link here is Bob Rock (or Heather lol)... Motley Crue and Bon Jovi hate each other... or should I say Nikki hates Jon... so I am a little surprised with this combo...

However if anything positive came out of RSO, it's me learning that Richie is at his best in his own element... All those overproduced, guest star tracks are pure garbage... Richie is at his best with himself and his guitar...

Having Tommy play on an album would excite me. Having Tommy just play on one track, would turn me off because it screams inconsistency.

Now that Richie is done experimenting with RSO, I really want to believe that he's heard the fans and could very well be putting together the biggest rock record we've ever gotten from Bon Jovi...

I still think that Richie is very capable and it's something that the fans desperately need. We all already know what to expect from the future John Shanks project staring Jon Bon Jovi on vocals is going to sound like..

Richie is recording with several musicians for his new album, I do not think Tommy is there for more than one or two songs. The question is, if that clip belongs to Richie's new album or Tommy's new album.
