Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. Once I noticed Who Says in the audible section it means Jon's kind of realizing how the song just doesn't work outside of America. Neither does Born To Follow. Shame he still resorts to the same replacements with Crash and Radio.

Since when is that?

Always is terrible. Just looked up a live version of 2011, pretty much anyone. Even those in Europe 2013 were better than this. He either has no idea of how terrible he sounds or thinks it's normal to get away with stuff like that. The average karaoke singer does a better job.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

He does listen to the audio that gets recorded after every show so, unless he's deaf he'll hear how bad it is.

As of now hes trying to adapt as there is no time for him to hire a vocal coach and get a decent voice in a couple of days. Correct me if I'm wrong though. But then, he's in denial. The only way to know is to listen to any video that will pop up in mid-2016.

Reminder
As reported by the local press before the tour, a throat doctor is on the rider.
It might have been due more to the local climate (lots of humidity and pollution in the air) than to his not being able to sing anymore, idk.

There was a sea of IML signs as well:

It takes some balls to sing Always when you know that your voice is in such bad shape.

Another (badly printed) setlist (Jon's?)

To be honest, I don't really think he does. I think it's some kind of urban myth that goes back to 1995 when Jon started saying they recorded shows themself. I very much doubt Jon sitting down after a show to listen to the show he just performed.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Exactly -- Jon has surpassed Shanks as weakest link in his OWN chain.

He was clearly pacing himself to do more than two hours and ran out of gas anyway. Sorry, but I don't think this tops their Singapore show. I'd rather see him do a solid ninety-minute show than a sloppy two-hour one.

Every show probably not and maybe not in their entirety but I think he does but then again you know I have not personally witnessed it.

But this has been an issue since his pre-Vancouver KOS shows. If HE'S in denial about bad he sounds, what about the people around him -- are they afraid of getting fired, or are they enabling him so they can get paid? Besides, if his plan is to be back on the road for his next album by early summer at the latest sounding the way he does, then this tour never should have happened. This is beginning to equate to Micheal Jackson gearing up for his This Is It tour while using a general anesthetic to get to sleep every night!

Dunno why everyone's so psyched about always. That was TERRIBLE. Only good thing about richie not being there is the interaction between matt and phill. You didnt really see that with bobby.
